Terry M. Shuch, Esquire, joined Meiselman & Helfant, LLC as an
associate in July 2003.
Ms. Shuch is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music of
the Johns Hopkins University (B.M.Ed. 1976 & M.M. 1978) and of
the Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. 1985).
From 1977 to 2003, Ms. Shuch served as bassoonist with The
United States Army Band (Pershing’s Own). Ms. Shuch performed
as principal bassoonist from 1998 to 2003, and functioned as
bassoon section leader from 1999 to 2003. In addition to her
duties with the Concert Band, Orchestra, and Ceremonial Band, Ms.
Shuch performed with the Woodwind Quintet from 1980 to 1986
and from 1996 to 2000, and founded and organized the band's
Bassoon Quartet. Other duties included writing awards, scheduling
studio space, and serving as the voting assistance officer. Ms.
Shuch retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant,
and was the recipient of two Meritorious Service Medals.
Ms. Shuch is a Member of the Montgomery County, Prince George's
County, and Maryland State Bar Associations, and the American
Constitution Society.
Ms. Shuch is married to Neal J. Meiselman. They are the parents of
two children.
